2011-2012 Tryouts

After taking a year off we are ready to start competing again! So excited! Tryouts for the 2011-2012 team will be Friday and Saturday April 8th & 9th at Laraes. Hope to see everyone there!

Year End Recap

Dazzlers ended the year with 3 1st place trophies- Thanksgiving Point, Richfield, and St. George! awesome job Kids!!

Elites ended the year with a 3rd place at Southtowne Expo Center, 1st Place in Richfeild and 1st Place in St. George!! Way to go!!

Nationals Slide Show

We're Back!!

OK! It's been a week today since the Elites made the trip back from California! WOW! Ya it has taken me this long to find the time to sit and Blog! The Elites Did So Awesome at Nationals It was their best performance yet (they did just as good at the Drill Team Show last Wednesday) They were full of energy and confidence, many of them commented that they weren't even nervous! I was so proud of them, it was well worth the trip! On our play time we swam at the motel, they played games in one of the rooms (16 plus kids) in the dark!! We went to Venice Beach were they swam in the Ocean, buried each other in the sand (got sand it places they didn't know the had!), shopped (they bought fun glasses and hats), watched acrobats, mimes, dancers and very strange people, and tried to eat while keeping the seagulls from stealing our food!! Then we drove to Hollywood Boulevard and walked the walk of fame and seen the "Stars" in the cement of famous people, got our pictures taken with characters, and shopped some more!!! We went and seen L.A Live across from the Staples Center were the L.A Lakers play. We got lost a few times driving in L.A., got honked at a few hundred times! But we laughed soooo much!!! It was a great experience and all in all I think we all had a great time! Hollywood here we come!!

This is the ELITES Big Week! We leave on Friday morning for L.A. California for Nationals! The Team has worked sooo hard, they have sold pizza's & raffle tickets, they've asked businesses for donations and we put on our "A Night With The Stars" Show which was a huge success!! The Team earned well over their goal of $5,000. We have been practicing hard and holding extra practices each week. Our routine is looking very good I know we will do very well at Nationals. We were able to get new bags for the trip too! They were very excited about them! I couldn't keep the secret any longer I had to give them to them. This Team has become real close this year, and the trip will bring them even closer. We drew names for Secret Sisters and Brothers gift that they will sneak into their rooms at Nationals. On our down time at Nationals we will be going to have some fun at the beach and maybe even Universal Studios! No matter how we do at Nationals we will have this Memory of this Awesome experience for the rest of our lives! I want my Elites to know how proud I am of you!! I know sometimes I get stressed out and get hard on you but know that I love and Care for each one of you. You make a difference in my life and always seem to brighten my day with the funny things you say and do. I love to watch all of you interact with each other you have a lot of fun! I also have been amazed at the progress each of you have made over the past year. Makalie, Taylor, Colton, & Kittyara are new to the Team this year but you wouldn't know it they have fit right in and made this team better!! I have some great leaders on this team who take charge on Warm-ups and help and encourage the younger ones to be better. Thank you, you help me out so much. Thank you parents for all your help and support this isn't possible without you! Thank you Tommy and Trace and Mikah, they get the back burner most of the time, thanks for your support and love! Thank you residence & Businesses of Emery & Carbon counties for making this trip possible we know these are hard times for many people. Elites- pack your bags and lets hit Hollywood!!!! Your the best!!!

Today the Elites went and earned a donation by washing windows at Nielson Construction in Huntington. We had a great time, and the weather was perfect. I'm so proud of this team they have worked so hard to reach their goal to attend Nationals. Thank you to Nielson Construction for letting us do this service. It's fun to spend time together as a team away from practice. Thanks to the moms and siblings that came and helped also!!
